Animal welfare supporters in Seagoville have a new incentive to give this month. The Seagoville Animal Shelter is taking part in the 2026 North Texas Giving Day campaign, and every dollar donated could go twice as far.
C&C Slab Leaks and Plumbing has pledged to match donations dollar for dollar. The match applies up to a total of $5,000, running through Sept. 17.
Community contributions of $5,000 could therefore generate as much as $10,000 for local rescue efforts. Donations can be made directly through the organization’s official North Texas Giving Day donation page.
North Texas Giving Day is organized annually by the Communities Foundation of Texas. The campaign culminates Thursday, Sept. 17. It stands as the foundation’s largest community fundraising initiative.
More than 100,000 donors gave a combined $78 million to participating nonprofits in 2025, according to North Texas Giving Day. For Seagoville Texas Animal Advocates and Rescue, the campaign represents one of its most significant fundraising opportunities of the year.
The organization says donations directly support its work assisting animals in need and sustaining rescue efforts across the Seagoville area. With the matching pledge from C&C Slab Leaks and Plumbing in place, every eligible dollar given during the campaign period carries double the impact.
That match will remain active only until the $5,000 commitment is exhausted.
Affordable Vaccine Clinic Set for Sept. 26
The fundraising campaign arrives just weeks before another animal welfare event in Seagoville.
Spay Neuter Network will host an affordable pet vaccine clinic Saturday, Sept. 26. The clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon at the Seagoville Animal Shelter, 500 E. Farmers Road.
The clinic will offer reduced cost vaccinations for dogs and cats. It will also provide flea and heartworm prevention, along with other discounted services. No appointments will be accepted.
Organizers are encouraging pet owners to arrive early, since service will end once the clinic reaches its capacity. All dogs must be leashed, and all cats must arrive in carriers.
The Seagoville clinic is part of Spay Neuter Network’s broader mission to expand access to basic preventive veterinary care across North Texas. The organization’s official event schedule confirms the Sept. 26 clinic will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
Two Ways for Residents to Help
The two September initiatives offer Seagoville residents distinct ways to support local animals.
Those able to make a financial contribution can take part in the matching gift campaign through Sept. 17. Pet owners seeking affordable preventive care can instead attend the Sept. 26 vaccine clinic.
