Friday, Sept. 4, brings a different lineup of food deals for Seagoville-area customers, with several Labor Day weekend promotions joining ongoing restaurant value menus.
This week’s list stretches beyond the usual collection of fast-food specials. Options include four $4 sandwiches at Whataburger, a free Popeyes Chicken Sandwich through Grubhub, free Taco Bell Nachos BellGrande, a $10.99 starting meal at Chili’s and a Friday-only Burger King bundle.
Some promotions require restaurant apps, rewards memberships or delivery through Grubhub. Prices and participation can vary by location, so customers should check the applicable app or online menu before ordering.
Whataburger: Four Sandwiches for $4 Each
Whataburger has added one of the more substantial new value menus heading into September.
Its new “More for $4” lineup features four sandwiches priced at $4 each at participating locations:
- Bacon & Cheese Whataburger Jr.
- Whataburger Patty Melt Jr.
- Honey BBQ Chicken Strip Sandwich Jr.
- Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich Jr.
Customers can turn any of the four selections into a meal by adding small fries and a small drink for another $3.
The promotion launched Aug. 18 and is available at participating Whataburger locations nationwide, including a Whataburger on Highway 175 in Seagoville.
Unlike many app-only promotions, this is an everyday value menu rather than a Friday-specific coupon.
Popeyes: Free Chicken Sandwich With $15 Order
Popeyes has one of Friday’s strongest Labor Day weekend delivery promotions.
On Friday, Sept. 4, Grubhub customers can receive a free Popeyes Chicken Sandwich with an order of at least $15.
The promotion is scheduled specifically for Friday and applies through Grubhub at participating restaurants.
There is not currently a Popeyes in Seagoville or Crandall, but nearby locations include restaurants in Balch Springs and Southeast Dallas, making the promotion potentially useful for customers within delivery range or traveling into those areas.
Delivery fees, menu pricing and restaurant availability can vary.
Taco Bell: Free Nachos BellGrande With $22 Order
Taco Bell customers have another Labor Day weekend delivery option.
From Friday, Sept. 4, through Monday, Sept. 7, Grubhub is offering a free Nachos BellGrande with qualifying Taco Bell orders of at least $22.
The Nachos BellGrande includes tortilla chips topped with seasoned beef, beans, nacho cheese sauce, reduced-fat sour cream and tomatoes.
Unlike several deals that require traveling outside Seagoville, Taco Bell has a restaurant at 550 E. Malloy Bridge Road.
Because this is a Grubhub promotion rather than a standard Taco Bell restaurant coupon, customers should place the qualifying order through Grubhub and confirm that their selected location is participating.
Chili’s: 3 For Me Starts at $10.99
Customers wanting a sit-down meal instead of another drive-thru promotion can consider Chili’s.
The restaurant’s continuing “3 For Me” menu starts at $10.99 and combines a beverage, starter and entrée.
Starter choices at the base level include options such as Chips & Salsa, soup or a side salad, while entrée selections include choices such as the Oldtimer with Cheese, Secret Sauce Burger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich and a three-count Chicken Crispers Combo.
Premium selections can increase the price.
There is no Chili’s in Seagoville or Crandall, but a nearby location operates on Highway 80 in Forney.
For families or customers looking for a traditional restaurant meal, the deal provides a different alternative from Friday’s app-based fast-food offers.
Burger King: $20 Friday Spider-Verse Bundle
Burger King also has a Friday-specific promotion.
As part of its Spider-Verse promotion, participating restaurants are offering a $20 “Glitch Bundle” on Fridays.
The bundle includes two Spider-Verse Whopper sandwiches, two medium fries, two Spider-Verse sundaes and two medium soft drinks. The promotion also advertises a $5 Fandango reward.
Burger King does not currently have a Seagoville location, but nearby restaurants include locations in Balch Springs and Sunnyvale.
Customers should check participating restaurants and the Burger King app or website before making the trip because promotional availability can vary.
7-Eleven: $1 Slurpee Happy Hour
Not every Friday bargain requires buying an entire meal.
7-Eleven continues its weekday Slurpee Happy Hour, offering a large Slurpee drink for $1 from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The promotion requires a 7Rewards or Speedy Rewards membership and is available at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores.
That makes Friday, Sept. 4, another eligible day for the promotion.
For customers already traveling through Balch Springs or Southeast Dallas, several 7-Eleven locations operate in the area.
Friday’s Best Values Depend on What You Want
Friday’s lineup provides considerably more variety than simply choosing between another burger combo or pizza coupon.
Whataburger provides the strongest everyday local option with four different $4 sandwiches available at participating restaurants. Taco Bell gives Seagoville customers a larger-order deal without leaving town, while Popeyes has a particularly strong Friday-only offer for customers using Grubhub.
Chili’s provides the sit-down alternative, Burger King offers a bundle designed for two people, and 7-Eleven gives customers a low-cost afternoon option.
The Labor Day weekend also means several promotions have unusually short redemption periods.
Customers should check the restaurant or delivery app before ordering, particularly with Grubhub offers, because delivery areas, participating locations, menu prices and promotional availability can vary.
