Crandall-Combine Community Library is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It is closed Sundays. Both libraries are free to visit, and both offer free WiFi, computer access, and library cards to residents.
August 11: Free Food Assistance This Week
A Seagoville food pantry serving zip codes 75159 and 75253 is open Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. A valid picture ID, a utility bill, and proof of residence are required, and clients may return for food up to twice a year. Call 972.287.2673 for details before visiting.
August 13: Church Recovery And Support Group
First Baptist Church Crandall, 400 E. Mowry St., hosts Celebrate Recovery this Thursday, August 13, at 6:30 p.m. Celebrate Recovery is a free recovery support program open to anyone in the community, not just church members, addressing a wide range of hurts, habits, and struggles rather than only substance addiction. August 15: Third Saturday Clean Up In Seagoville
The City of Seagoville hosts its Third Saturday Clean Up this Saturday, August 15, from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at the City Service Center, 101 N. Watson. Residents can drop off trash and debris free of charge, though a City of Seagoville water or trash bill along with a driver’s license must be presented. Tires and appliances containing Freon or other hazardous household chemicals are not accepted.
Youth Social Nights This Week
Central Baptist Church Crandall, 1749 S. FM 148, runs a Junior High and High School student ministry built around fellowship, games, and worship before breaking into small groups. Contact the church at 972.427.0144 for this week’s schedule.

Community Outreach To Watch For
