Clear the Shelters is ongoing at Seagoville Animal Shelter, and organizers are asking the community to open their homes and hearts to dogs and cats who have waited far too long for a family.
Ten Longest Residents Now Fully Sponsored
The shelter’s ten longest waiting dogs now have fully sponsored adoption fees, meaning their adoption costs nothing for the family who steps forward. Every other adoption is currently priced at just $40, a limited time reduction meant to help move as many pets as possible into loving homes.
Shelter staff say the goal is simple, find furever families for the dogs and cats who have spent the longest time in kennels while the shelter works to clear out space and give every animal a real shot at a home.
What Is Included With Every Adoption
Every adoption fee covers spay or neuter surgery, vaccines, and a microchip. Dogs over six months old also receive a heartworm test as part of the adoption package, giving new pet owners a healthy start with their new companion.
A Lifetime Commitment
Shelter staff remind the community that pets are a lifetime commitment of love and care. Anyone ready to provide that commitment is encouraged to visit and meet the shelter’s fabulous furries in person.
An adoption form and identification are required to complete an adoption.
