The 2026 Crandall Youth Sports Association Cheer Camp will begin Monday, July 20, at Central Baptist Church in Crandall. The camp will include seven themed sessions through July 31, giving participants opportunities to learn cheer skills, build confidence and celebrate Pirate spirit.
Camp will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Central Baptist Church, 1749 FM 148, Crandall, Texas 75114.
Opening night will feature the theme “Glow Hard or Go Home.” Cheerleaders should wear the neon color assigned to their age group:
- Pep Squad: Neon yellow
- First and second grades: Lime green
- Third and fourth grades: Neon purple
- Fifth and sixth grades: Neon pink
A mandatory parent meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. on July 20.
2026 CYSA Cheer Camp Schedule
Monday, July 20 — Glow Hard or Go Home
Participants should wear their assigned neon color. The mandatory parent meeting begins at 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday, July 21 — Animal Print
Cheerleaders are encouraged to wear clothing or accessories featuring animal-print designs.
Thursday, July 23 — Red, White and Blue
Participants should wear patriotic colors for the evening’s theme.
Monday, July 27 — Tropical/Hawaiian
Cheerleaders may wear colorful tropical or Hawaiian-inspired clothing and accessories.
Tuesday, July 28 — Camo
Participants are encouraged to wear camouflage-patterned attire.
Thursday, July 30 — Tie Dye
Cheerleaders should wear bright tie-dye clothing for the session.
Friday, July 31 — Pirate Pride
Participants should wear a Pirate shirt with black shorts. The camp will conclude with showoffs beginning at 7 p.m.
Families should make sure each cheerleader brings a water bottle to every session. Participants should arrive prepared to learn, work with their teammates and take part in each night’s scheduled theme.
The camp’s combination of instruction, themed activities and final showoff will provide young cheerleaders with a fun way to develop their skills before the upcoming youth sports season.
