FreedomFest Returns to Crandall July 3 With Live Music, Food Trucks and Fireworks Show

Central Baptist Church of Crandall is inviting the community to celebrate Independence Day a day early with its annual FreedomFest, set for Friday, July 3, 2026. The event coincides with the 250th anniversary of American independence and is expected to draw a large crowd for what organizers are calling one of the largest fireworks shows in Kaufman County.

The celebration takes place at Central Baptist Church, located at 1749 S FM 148 in Crandall, and runs approximately three hours and thirty minutes, beginning at 6:30 PM.

Event Schedule

Attendees can plan around the following lineup:

6:30 PM to 7:30 PM — Live Elvis tribute performance

7:45 PM to 9:15 PM — Live music from Texas Country Boys

9:15 PM — Gate closes for everyone’s safety

9:30 PM — Fireworks show begins

Food trucks will be on site throughout the evening, giving families a chance to grab dinner before settling in for the entertainment and fireworks.

What to Bring

Organizers are encouraging families to bring lawn chairs and coolers to make an evening of it. Parking is limited, so early arrival is recommended for those hoping to secure a good spot.

The event’s theme sums up the night in four words: fun, food, fireworks and freedom.
