The Seagoville Senior Center will hold its semiannual rummage sale Oct. 15–16, with proceeds supporting activities, crafts, entertainment, and travel for its members.
The sale will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at 304 E. Farmers Road. The center is inviting residents to shop and meet the seniors who take part in its programs.
Residents can also help by donating items in good condition ahead of the sale. The center’s flyer lists donation drop-off hours as 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. It does not specify which kinds of items it will accept, so anyone with a large or unusual donation should call before bringing it in.
The sale helps pay for experiences beyond the center’s regular gathering space. Its published activities include arts and crafts, music, dancing, day trips, games, and group exercise.
