Seven days from today, the carnival lights come on at SeagoFest 2026. For families who plan to spend much of their festival visit on the rides, one decision could determine both their schedule and their budget: which day are they going to ride?
SeagoFest begins Thursday, Oct. 1, and continues through Sunday, Oct. 4, at C.O. Bruce Central Park, giving families four days to fit carnival rides, food, shopping, live music, and other activities into their plans.
But the biggest piece of ride information is worth making clear now:
$25 ADVANCE ARMBAND
UNLIMITED CARNIVAL RIDES — ONE DAY
The advance-sale armband costs $25 and is good for unlimited carnival rides on one selected festival day.
That means it is not a four-day festival pass.
A rider who wants unlimited rides Thursday uses an armband for Thursday. Someone wanting to return and ride again Friday, Saturday, or Sunday would need another armband for that additional day.
For households with several children—or several adults who still consider the carnival midway the best part of SeagoFest—that distinction matters.
The advance armband can turn the carnival portion of the trip into a predictable expense rather than a series of individual ride purchases.
Families can decide in advance how many people will ride, choose their carnival day, buy the armbands, and then build the rest of their festival budget around food, drinks, games, and shopping.
Social Media Is Pushing the Rides
The Seagoville Chamber of Commerce has made the carnival a major part of its recent Facebook promotion, telling followers that the rides are calling and encouraging festivalgoers not to miss their chance to ride throughout the day.
Migalitos Supermercado has also been promoting SeagoFest wristbands on Facebook and has told customers that wristbands are available now.
There is another reason families interested in the advance deal may not want to wait until the last minute: Migalitos has described its supply as limited.
That does not mean every advance armband is about to disappear, but it does mean families who already know they want to ride have little reason to wait until festival weekend to begin looking for them.
The advance-sale promotion is designed for people who have already made the carnival part of their SeagoFest plans.

Choosing Your Ride Day Matters
A four-day festival gives families options, but the one-day armband makes choosing a day more important.
Thursday is opening day. For some families, being among the first visitors through the festival is part of the fun. It also gives people an opportunity to make the carnival the centerpiece of their first SeagoFest visit.
Friday gives families an end-of-the-week option. Once the final festival operating hours are announced, parents may be able to build a Friday visit around school and work schedules.
Saturday offers the most crowded calendar of already-confirmed special events.
The sixth annual Some Run takes place Saturday morning, with the timed 5K scheduled to begin at 8:05 a.m. The SeagoFest Car Show follows from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., while the carnival, food vendors, shopping, and live entertainment continue as part of the festival.
That makes Saturday attractive for families wanting several activities in one visit.
It can also mean a different kind of festival day for someone whose main objective is simply getting on as many carnival rides as possible.
Sunday provides the final opportunity to experience SeagoFest before the four-day celebration ends.
The right choice will depend on whether the household wants a carnival-focused outing or plans to combine the rides with the race, car show, vendors, food, and entertainment.
The Armband Does Not Cover Everything
Families should also remember what the $25 price represents.
It is a carnival ride armband, not an all-inclusive SeagoFest spending pass.
Festival admission and parking are being advertised as free, but food, drinks, vendor merchandise, games, and other purchases should be treated as separate expenses.
