SeagoFest returns Oct. 1–4 to C.O. Bruce Central Park.
The countdown to one of Seagoville’s most popular community celebrations officially begins today.
SeagoFest 2026 is 21 days away, with four days of carnival rides, food, shopping, live music and special Saturday attractions planned at C.O. Bruce Central Park.
The Seagoville Chamber of Commerce is promoting this year’s celebration as the 40th annual SeagoFest. Admission and parking are free, allowing families to visit the festival without purchasing an entrance ticket.
Carnival rides will operate during the festival, with advance-sale ride wristbands advertised for $25. The wristband offer applies to rides and should not be confused with festival admission.
Arts and crafts vendors along with food vendors are also planned throughout the celebration. A complete list of participating vendors has not yet been announced.
Saturday, Oct. 3, is expected to be one of the festival’s busiest days. The morning will begin with the sixth annual Some Run, followed by the SeagoFest Car Show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Some Run will offer a timed 5K, an untimed walk or roll and a shorter shuffle around the park pond. Proceeds benefit the A-T Children’s Project and its work to develop treatments and find a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia.
Live music is planned during SeagoFest, although the complete entertainment schedule and individual performance times have not been released.
Shop in Seagoville will publish a new countdown article every morning through opening day. Each installment will feature a different attraction, activity, tradition, or piece of information families can use when planning their festival visit.
