Seagofest 2026 Set for Oct. 1–4 with Carnival Rides, Food and Live Music

One of Seagoville’s biggest fall traditions is preparing to return for four days of community fun.

Seagofest 2026 is scheduled for Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 1–4, with the Seagoville Chamber of Commerce bringing the annual celebration back to C.O. Bruce Central Park.

This year’s festival will combine carnival attractions with shopping, food, music, a charity run and a Saturday car show.

Carnival Rides, Vendors and Live Music

Carnival rides will be part of the festival throughout the weekend, with advance-sale wristbands priced at $25.

According to the Chamber’s event flyer, the wristbands can be purchased in advance through the Seagoville Chamber of Commerce or Migalitos. The flyer specifies that the $25 offer is for advance sales.

Arts and crafts vendors and food vendors are also planned, giving visitors an opportunity to browse local and regional sellers while spending the day at the park.

Live music is scheduled during all four days of Seagofest, although individual performers and performance times have not yet been announced.

Some Run Returns to Support A-T Children’s Project

Saturday morning will begin with the sixth annual Some Run, a community fitness event benefiting the A-T Children’s Project.

The Oct. 3 event offers several ways to participate, including a timed 5K run, an untimed 5K walk or roll and a shorter shuffle around the park pond.

Race-day registration and packet pickup are scheduled from 6:15 to 7:30 a.m. The timed 5K begins at 8:05 a.m., followed by the walk and roll at 8:10 and the shuffle at 8:15. An awards ceremony is scheduled for 9:15.

Current registration is $45 for the timed 5K, $35 for the walk or roll and $25 for the shuffle. Virtual participation options are also available.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the timed 5K.

The event will include raffles, arm wrestling, free Starbucks coffee and tea and free Chick-fil-A Chicken Minis before participants can continue their day at Seagofest.

Proceeds support the A-T Children’s Project and its work toward finding treatments and a cure for ataxia-telangiectasia, a rare genetic disease.

Car Show Takes Over Saturday Morning

Automotive enthusiasts will have their own reason to head to the park Oct. 3 when the annual Seagofest Car Show runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Vehicle registration costs $25, with the entry fees benefiting the Seagoville Chamber of Commerce.

Awards will include Top 20, Best of Show Car and Best of Show Truck. Door prizes are also planned.

The car show flyer advertises free cold drinks throughout the event and a free hot lunch for participants.

Migalitos, HBTX HomeBank Texas and Seagoville Express Lube & Auto Care are listed as car show sponsors.

Car show questions can be directed to Heather Bosko at 214-674-0909 or Ritha Edwards at 972-287-5184.
