Crandall ISD’s six elementary campuses are gearing up for Meet the Teacher Night on Tuesday, August 11, from 5 to 7 p.m., giving Pirate families a first look at the 2026 to 2027 school year before classes officially begin.
The elementary date follows a district wide Meet the Teacher schedule that also includes Middle Schools on Thursday, August 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., and Crandall High School on Monday, August 10, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event brings families to Barbara Walker Elementary, Hollis T. Dietz Elementary, Noble Reed Elementary, Nola Kathryn Wilson Elementary, Opal Smith Elementary, and W.A. Martin Elementary to meet classroom teachers, tour school buildings, and get settled in ahead of the first day of class.
Crandall ISD has described Meet the Teacher events as a chance for students and parents to connect face to face with their child’s teacher and campus staff, walk the halls, and ask questions before the school year gets underway in earnest.
Crandall ISD shared the district wide schedule through ParentSquare, its official communication platform, and families are encouraged to check their child’s individual campus page for any classroom specific details ahead of Tuesday’s event. Families who have not yet downloaded the ParentSquare app can find it on the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Meet the Teacher Night is part of a broader back to school push across the district this month, which has also included the Back to School Bash at Heartland Middle School and the opening of free and reduced price meal applications for the new school year.
