The race to determine the Best Running Back in Seagoville High School History continues to attract strong participation, with 1,611 votes now recorded across the 13 candidates.
Ricky Richards remains in first place with 327 votes, but the competition behind him has changed significantly since the previous update. Kelvin Eafon has moved into second place with 262 votes, followed closely by James Collier with 251 and John Livingston with 246.
Only 16 votes separate Eafon in second place from Livingston in fourth, creating a particularly close contest among three players representing different eras of Seagoville Dragons football.

Richards currently holds a 65-vote advantage over Eafon. The leader has added 54 votes since the previous update, increasing his total from 273 to 327.
Eafon has experienced the largest surge among the leading candidates, adding 76 votes and moving ahead of Collier. Livingston has gained 85 votes, bringing him within five votes of Collier and 16 votes of second place.
The previous standings showed Richards leading Collier, Eafon and Livingston, respectively. A total of 335 additional votes have been submitted since that update, demonstrating that alumni, former players, families and Dragons football supporters remain highly engaged in the competition.
Voting Continues Through July 31
The poll opened July 1 and is scheduled to remain available through July 31, 2026. Participants select one nominee and submit their name and email address. The poll is limited to one accepted vote per IP address.
The competition gives the Seagoville community an opportunity to recognize outstanding running backs from the 1950s through the 2000s. It also allows alumni from different generations to revisit the athletes, teams and football memories that helped shape the program.
With three players separated by only 16 votes in the battle for second place, the standings could continue to change before the voting period ends. Supporters are encouraged to vote and share the poll with former classmates, teammates, coaches, relatives and other members of the Dragons community.
