A new indoor entertainment destination is preparing to switch on the blacklights and welcome local families, gamers and miniature-golf competitors.
Monster Mini Golf is slated to open this month at 950 East Malloy Bridge Road, Suite 104, in Seagoville. An exact opening date has not been announced, and the company’s location page indicates that operating hours and a local telephone number will be posted later.
The attraction will combine an 18-hole indoor miniature-golf course, a gaming arcade and a Laser Maze under one roof. With everything located inside a climate-controlled facility, the venue is being positioned as a year-round option for family outings, birthday celebrations, date nights, school groups and gatherings with friends.
Mini Golf Prices Begin at $11
The centerpiece will be Monster Mini Golf’s signature 18-hole blacklight miniature-golf course. Players will make their way through fluorescent obstacles, wall-to-wall artwork and a collection of animated monsters that talk and move.
The company describes the theme as entertaining rather than frightening, giving the course a playful haunted-house atmosphere intended for both children and adults. The Seagoville course is also expected to feature customized artwork inspired by local culture and landmarks—with a monster-themed twist.
Published miniature-golf prices are:
- Little Monsters: $11 per round
- Big Monsters: $13 per round
- Seniors, military members, college students and first responders: $11 with valid identification
The Seagoville pricing page does not currently specify the age cutoff separating “Little Monsters” from “Big Monsters,” so families may want to confirm that detail once the location begins accepting calls or announces its opening procedures.
Arcade Games and Bonus Play
Visitors who prefer joysticks, racing games and ticket challenges will be able to head directly to the arcade. Monster Mini Golf says the gaming area will include a mixture of nostalgic arcade favorites and newer high-tech games.
Players will be able to earn tickets and exchange them for merchandise at the Monster Prize Center. Because arcade spending is loaded onto game cards, families can choose how much they want to play rather than purchasing a separate admission package.
The location has published several arcade bonus offers:
- Purchase a $20 arcade card and receive $5 in bonus value
- Purchase a $30 arcade card and receive $10 in bonus value
- Purchase a $50 arcade card and receive $20 in bonus value
- Purchase a $100 arcade card and receive $40 in bonus value
Those bonuses may be particularly useful for families with several players or guests planning to spend most of their visit in the arcade.
A $3 Test of Speed and Nerves
The Laser Maze will offer a different type of challenge. Instead of trying to hit a ball under par, participants must carefully maneuver through a field of laser beams.
One play will cost $3, making it the least expensive standalone attraction currently listed for the Seagoville location.
Combination Packages Offer More Play
Guests planning to try more than one attraction will have three combination packages available.
The Monstrous Mix, priced at $22, includes one round of miniature golf and a $10 arcade card.
The Terrific Trio costs $25 and includes one round of miniature golf with a $15 arcade card.
The largest package, called the Ogre, is priced at $30. It includes one round of miniature golf, a $20 arcade card and one Laser Maze play.
For a family of four purchasing individual rounds, miniature golf would currently total $44 if everyone qualifies for the Little Monsters price or $52 if everyone is charged the Big Monsters rate. Arcade play, Laser Maze attempts and refreshments or other purchases would be additional.
Opening Details Still to Come
The arrival of Monster Mini Golf will give Seagoville residents an indoor entertainment option without requiring a longer drive to similar attractions elsewhere in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Its mix of miniature golf, arcade competition and laser challenges could make it equally suitable for an afternoon with younger children, a teen gathering or a lighthearted competition among adults.
