Meet Your Crandall City Council

A resident’s guide to the Mayor and Council Members currently serving the City of Crandall, Texas.

Crandall is growing fast, and with that growth comes a City Council making decisions that shape daily life for residents, from new development to public safety. Yet plenty of Crandall residents couldn’t name a single member of that council. Shop in Seagoville is here to change that with a simple guide to the six people currently leading the city.

Crandall operates under a Mayor and City Council structure, with six council seats plus the Mayor’s office. The City of Crandall is classified as a Type A General Law Municipality, and all governing body members serve two year terms, staggered so the council never turns over all at once.

Effective November 2025, the council holds two Regular Meetings per month, on the first and third Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Meetings take place in Court Chambers at 104 E. Trunk St.

How to Have Your Voice Heard

Agendas are posted ahead of every meeting, and minutes are made available once approved, so residents can review what the council discussed and decided even if they were not able to attend. Both are posted through the city’s online Agenda Center. Residents can also reach out to City Hall directly at 972 427 3771 with questions about upcoming agenda items or general city business.

With three seats up in May 2027 and three in May 2028, Crandall residents will have regular opportunities to weigh in on who represents them at City Hall. Knowing who currently holds those seats is the first step.
