The John Bunker Sands Wetland Center in Combine is inviting families out for a Summer Family Day event on Saturday, June 27, focused on the wild animals that call the wetland home.
The event, called Wildlife Warriors, runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wetland Center, located at 655 Martin Lane in Combine. Organizers describe it as a chance for families to “take a walk on the wild side” and learn about the wildlife that lives in the wetland through educational activities and crafts.
According to the Wetland Center, the day will include hands on learning experiences about the animals found throughout the property, along with family friendly crafts designed to be fun for all ages.
