🚗 SEAGOFEST COUNTDOWN: 3 DAYS
Saturday’s car show brings cars, trucks, awards, and community support to C.O. Bruce Central Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Some visitors will come to SeagoFest for the carnival. Others will arrive hungry for festival food or ready for Saturday morning’s Some Run.
But from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, one section of C.O. Bruce Central Park will belong to the cars and trucks.
The 2026 SeagoFest Car Show is scheduled as one of Saturday’s signature attractions, giving owners an opportunity to put their vehicles on display.
Festival visitors can get an up-close look at a field that can include everything from restored classics and trucks to customized and late-model performance vehicles.
Photos from previous SeagoFest car shows show vehicles lined across the grass at Bruce Central Park, with hoods raised, owners gathered beside their entries, and spectators moving from row to row.
That open-air setting makes the show more than a quick stop: visitors can walk the display area, talk with owners, and see the workmanship and personality behind individual vehicles.
$25 Gets a Vehicle Into the Show
Published 2026 festival information lists vehicle registration at $25, with entry fees benefiting the Seagoville Chamber of Commerce.
The competitive portion of the show includes three announced award categories:
- Top 20
- Best of Show Car
- Best of Show Truck
Participants also receive some extras beyond the competition. Organizers advertise door prizes, free cold drinks, and a free hot lunch for registered participants.
The scheduled show hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, giving entrants and spectators a defined four-hour window before the rest of the SeagoFest Saturday continues around them.
Three Businesses Back the Car Show
The 2026 SeagoFest information identifies three businesses specifically as Car Show Sponsors:

Their sponsorship is part of a much broader network of businesses, families, and organizations supporting SeagoFest weekend and the sixth annual Some Run.
That distinction matters. SeagoFest is presented by the Seagoville Chamber of Commerce, while Saturday’s events are supported by different groups contributing to individual programs and activities.
A Bigger Network Behind Saturday
The car show follows the Some Run, which begins earlier Saturday morning at Bruce Central Park.
The sixth annual race benefits the A-T Children’s Project, supporting its work involving ataxia-telangiectasia, a rare inherited disease. Race organizers offer a timed 5K, an untimed walk or roll, and a shorter shuffle around the park pond.
The timed 5K begins at 8:05 a.m., followed by the Walk and Roll at 8:10 a.m. and the Shuffle at 8:15 a.m. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 9:15 a.m.
That timing creates a natural transition at the park. As the race program winds down, the car show is scheduled to open at 10 a.m.
2026 Some Run Gold Partners
Three names are listed as Gold Partners for the 2026 Some Run:

Starbucks also has a visible role on race morning. Organizers advertise complimentary Starbucks coffee and tea for participants and guests around the event.

HomeBank Texas Supports Race Prizes
HomeBank Texas has an additional role beyond its sponsorship of the car show.
Published Some Run information says the bank is supporting cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers in the timed 5K.
The announced prize structure is substantial:
First place: $500 for the top male and $500 for the top female
Second place: $250 for the second-place male and $250 for the second-place female
Third place: $125 for the third-place male and $125 for the third-place female
That puts $1,750 in announced cash prizes on the line for the six top overall finishers.
One Park, Two Major Saturday Events
The combination of the Some Run and Car Show makes Saturday morning one of the most concentrated stretches of activity during SeagoFest.
Race participants are asked to arrive early because road access for the Some Run closes at 7:30 a.m. The first timed race starts at 8:05 a.m., awards are planned for 9:15 a.m., and the car show begins at 10 a.m.
By late morning, runners, families, car owners, spectators, vendors, and festival visitors can all be sharing Bruce Central Park.
The broader SeagoFest weekend runs Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 1–4, with carnival attractions, food vendors, arts and crafts, shopping, and entertainment planned around the park.
