CRANDALL — Crandall FFA students earned three top-six finishes at the Brownsboro Invitational and two blue ribbons at the State Fair of Texas, according to announcements from the chapter.
The results recognized students competing in Creed speaking and agricultural mechanics, with the chapter praising their preparation and work as fall competitions continue.
At the Brownsboro Invitational, Crandall’s Creed speakers earned third place in Senior Spanish Creed, fourth place in Greenhand Spanish Creed and sixth place in Senior Creed.
The invitational provided an opportunity for students to compete as they prepare for the Leadership Development Event, or LDE, season.
Crandall FFA credited the speakers’ continued effort and encouraged community members to congratulate them.
“We’re so proud of these students and the work they’ve been putting in as we head into LDE season!” the chapter said in its announcement.
Crandall’s agricultural mechanics students also remained busy during fall break, taking two projects to the State Fair of Texas. Both projects received blue ribbons, the chapter reported.
Photos accompanying the announcement show students displaying their projects and awards at the fair.

“These students have put so much time and effort into their projects, and we couldn’t be prouder!” the chapter said.
Together, the results gave Crandall FFA achievements to celebrate in both public speaking and agricultural mechanics, while its Creed speakers continue preparing for the LDE season.
