Crandall sent 11 two-angler teams to the Texas High School Bass Association tournament, with seven bringing fish to the scales. Blake and Fulton delivered Crandall’s heaviest catch, finishing more than six pounds ahead of the school’s next pair.

Bobby Silger and Jacob Dilday weighed in 8.72 pounds, narrowly edging fellow Crandall anglers Ayden Collier and Lane Kirby, who finished with 8.57 pounds. Just 0.15 pounds separated those two teams.

Adalee Ludwig and Fabian Quintanilla added a 5.12-pound catch, followed by Lucas Ridgle and Breylon Harshbarger with 3.54 pounds.

The seven Crandall teams that recorded weigh-in totals were:

Anglers Weight
Landen Blake and Miles Fulton 14.89 pounds
Bobby Silger and Jacob Dilday 8.72 pounds
Ayden Collier and Lane Kirby 8.57 pounds
Adalee Ludwig and Fabian Quintanilla 5.12 pounds
Lucas Ridgle and Breylon Harshbarger 3.54 pounds
Benjamin Barrera and Wyatt Shawver 2.92 pounds
Jax Strain and Colt Strain 1.80 pounds

Together, those catches totaled 45.56 pounds.

In its tournament recap, the Crandall program recognized all participating anglers, including those who returned without fish to weigh. The team described each tournament as an opportunity for students to learn, develop their skills and improve.

The program also thanked the boat captains, parents, sponsors and volunteers whose support makes tournament participation possible.

Blake and Fulton’s fifth-place finish highlighted a day that brought seven Crandall teams to the weigh-in scales and gave the school’s anglers another round of competitive experience.
