Ask around any Seagoville campus and the same names surface. Certain mothers always know which forms are due and which meeting actually matters.
That knowledge is exactly what the Shop in Seagoville Digital Network is trying to hire. The network is recruiting Spanish speaking and bilingual creators ahead of its Monday, Dec. 7, 2026 launch.
Spanish language programming is built into the lineup rather than translated in afterward. Aquí en Casa covers local news for area families. Camino al Futuro focuses on scholarships, careers and opportunities for students.
Filmed at Home, on a Phone
Nobody is being asked to sound like a television anchor. Short and approachable videos are the goal.
An iPhone propped on a kitchen counter is a legitimate production setup. Modern phones handle 4K video, and a clip on microphone fixes the audio for the price of a lunch.
Segments can be filmed at home or around town between errands. The schedule is designed for people who already have full days.
Sixty Percent Goes to the Creator
Creators keep 60 percent of the sponsorship money collected for their show. The remaining 40 percent covers sales, billing, publishing and distribution on the network side.
This is not paid by views. Local businesses sponsor the programming because it reaches the households they actually serve.
A show collecting $750 per month returns $450 to its creator. A show at $2,500 returns $1,500. Those examples come straight from the network recruiting announcement and describe the formula rather than guaranteed earnings.
The Audience Is Already Waiting
Thousands of residents across the coverage area prefer their local information in Spanish. Very little of it exists in video form.
A host could explain a city council decision or walk through a school enrollment deadline. Interviews with local business owners and community figures work just as well.
The network is especially interested in stay at home mothers and homemakers who want part time creative work. Being trusted in your neighborhood counts for more here than a media degree.
Getting Started Before December
Applicants may come from Seagoville, Crandall or Combine. Hosts, community reporters and bilingual contributors are all needed.
Both Spanish language franchises are open right now. Anyone interested should look over the openings and start the conversation early.
