The countdown to one of Seagoville’s biggest community traditions is about to begin.
Shop in Seagoville will launch its 21 Days to SeagoFest series Thursday, Sept. 10, giving local residents a new festival-focused article every day until the 40th annual SeagoFest opens Thursday, Oct. 1.
The four-day celebration is scheduled for Oct. 1–4 at C.O. Bruce Central Park. Announced attractions include carnival rides, food and arts-and-crafts vendors, live music, the sixth annual Some Run and the annual SeagoFest Car Show.
Rather than publishing one long preview and waiting for opening day, the countdown will break the festival into useful, easy-to-read daily features. Each article will focus on a different part of the SeagoFest experience, helping residents make plans while building anticipation for the weekend.
