A longtime Seagoville business is receiving recognition for helping keep its property and neighborhood looking their best.
Keep Seagoville Beautiful has named Wade Electric its August 2026 Business Landscape of the Month, recognizing the company for its efforts to maintain and beautify its property on West Simonds Road.
Wade Electric is located at 609 W. Simonds Road in Seagoville and has a history stretching back nearly eight decades. The electrical contractor has been in business since 1947, serving customers throughout the Dallas area.
The company specializes in residential electrical construction while also providing remodeling, commercial electrical work, generator installation and maintenance, electrical service upgrades and emergency electrical services.
The August honor is part of Keep Seagoville Beautiful’s continuing effort to recognize businesses and residents who contribute to the appearance of the community.
Keep Seagoville Beautiful was established by city ordinance in 2006 and operates as an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful. Its programs focus on beautification, litter prevention and encouraging residents and businesses to take pride in the appearance of Seagoville.
For Wade Electric, the August recognition highlights something beyond the services provided inside homes and businesses — the appearance of the company’s own Seagoville property and its contribution to the surrounding neighborhood.
