A congregation born from a merger of two Seagoville churches now shares one building, two worship languages, and a mission built on unity.
Our Local Church Tour series continues on Stark Road in Seagoville, where Trinity Love Church has turned what began as two separate congregations into one shared home.
What started in 2015 as Eastgate Fellowship International has grown, through a partnership and eventual merger with a decades old neighboring church, into a multicultural congregation with worship offered in both English and Spanish under one roof.
In 2021, the Dallas Baptist Association connected Trinity Love, then in need of space, with Robinwood Baptist Church, a congregation founded in 1953 with room to spare.
The two churches began sharing Robinwood’s building at different times to split the cost, and when Robinwood’s pastor left for another position in 2023, Trinity Love’s Pastor Larry Brice began preaching for both congregations.
On Saturday, October 12, 2024, the two churches held a merging celebration and officially became one body under the Trinity Love name, with help from the Southern Baptists of Texas Foundation in securing a loan for the shared property.

What To Expect
Trinity Love now worships inside the building that once belonged solely to Robinwood Baptist Church, an 800 seat sanctuary that also includes a full court gym, an educational wing, and a 50 seat chapel that now serves as the home of Trinity Love Español.
The church’s Spanish language congregation holds worship every Sunday at 9 a.m. in the morning, with a midweek Bible institute on Tuesday evenings.
Trinity Love’s English language service schedule was not listed on the church’s website, so visitors can call to the church office or visit to the Trinity Love Church Facebook page, where the congregation posts weekly updates.
A Watch Online option is also listed on the church site as coming soon for anyone who wants to tune in from home.
Who They Are
Association leaders describe Trinity Love’s story as more than a merger. Trinity Love needed space, Robinwood had it to spare, and a shared building slowly became a shared church family.
Pastor Brice has leaned into the wordplay built into his church’s own initials, framing Trinity Love Church as a home built on tender loving care for a congregation that now includes members from Robinwood’s longtime Anglo congregation alongside Trinity Love’s newer, primarily African American roots, together with a growing Spanish speaking ministry.
trinityLeaders from the North American Mission Board and the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention have pointed to the congregation as an example of two different church cultures finding common ground under one roof. On Facebook, the church carries a full recommendation rating from its reviewers.
