RPM Speedway is preparing for another action-packed Saturday night of dirt-track racing on August 15, with three competitive divisions and a $500-to-win Spectator Race highlighting the program.
The racing card will feature Rick Murray Electric Factory Stocks, Riddle Brothers Limited Modifieds and RaceSaver Sprints. The combination gives fans a mix of full-bodied stock car racing, modified competition and the speed of winged sprint cars on the RPM dirt oval.
$500 Spectator Race Adds to Saturday’s Show
One of the night’s featured attractions will be the Spectator Race, with $500 going to the winner.
Spectator races have become a popular addition to RPM’s schedule, giving fans something different alongside the regular racing divisions. Saturday’s $500 prize adds even more incentive for competitors willing to put their cars — and their driving skills — to the test.
With Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds and RaceSaver Sprints also scheduled, RPM is offering fans several distinctly different forms of racing in one night.
Saturday Night Schedule
The pit gate opens at 5 p.m., followed by the grandstands at 6 p.m. The drivers meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., with hot laps beginning at 7:30 p.m. Racing is scheduled to get underway at 8 p.m.
Fans planning to arrive early can also make dinner part of their night at the speedway. RPM is encouraging spectators to come hungry and take advantage of the track’s concession offerings before settling in for the racing program.
Admission and Pit Passes
General admission is $20 and tickets for seniors, military members and children ages 6-12 is $15, while children under 6 are admitted free.
Adult pit passes are $40. Pit passes for children ages 2-10 are $20, while children under 2 receive free pit admission.
Personal-size coolers measuring up to 10-by-10-by-13 inches are permitted for a $10 fee. According to the speedway, beer is limited to cans.
Another Full Night at RPM
Saturday’s program continues a busy stretch of summer racing at RPM Speedway, with the RaceSaver Sprints providing high-speed open-wheel action and the Factory Stocks and Limited Modifieds bringing their own style of close-quarters dirt-track competition.
