Noble Reed Elementary PTO Invites Families to ‘Chalk the Walk’ for Back-to-School

To ring in the upcoming school year with positivity and community spirit, the Noble Reed Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting its annual “Chalk the Walk” event.

The family-friendly event is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM along the front walkway and main entrance of Noble Reed Elementary.

Decorating a Path of Inspiration

Designed to kick off the new academic calendar, “Chalk the Walk” brings parents, students, and community members together to transform the campus entrance into a vibrant canvas of encouragement. Participants will write handwritten messages, draw artwork, and share uplifting quotes to greet students on their first morning back in the classroom.

Event organizers emphasize that the initiative aims to make every student feel seen, valued, and excited to return to school under the event’s central theme: “Write. Welcome. Inspire.”

Event Details & Attendance

All materials, including colorful sidewalk chalk, will be provided on-site by the PTO. Families are simply encouraged to bring their creativity and school spirit.
