To help families kick off the upcoming academic year on the right foot, Seagoville Middle School is inviting students and parents to campus for an Open House on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
The evening event, running from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., offers an ideal chance for families to connect with educators, meet athletic coaches, and explore the school before official classes begin.
What to Expect at the Event

Campus Tours & Hallway Navigation: Families can walk student schedules, locate key classrooms, and map out daily routes through stairwells and common areas—a great way to calm first-day jitters, especially for incoming sixth graders or new transfers.

Faculty Connections: Parents can introduce themselves to teachers, gain insight into classroom expectations, discuss academic curricula, and ask questions regarding daily routines.

Athletic & Program Info: Coaches will be on-site to speak with prospective student-athletes about upcoming sports schedules, team tryouts, and extracurricular offerings.
School officials recommend that families attend together and budget enough time to thoroughly explore the facilities, find every room on the student’s schedule, and chat with staff.
