The Seagoville Public Library has added a large selection of fresh titles for children, teenagers and adults, giving residents another reason to spend part of the summer reading in a cool, comfortable setting.
The latest additions cover a broad range of interests, including thrillers, romance, contemporary fiction, inspirational reading, Spanish-language books, graphic novels, manga, early-reader stories and picture books. Families can find selections for young children who are beginning to explore books, while older readers can choose from mysteries, popular series and newly released novels.
Adult and young-adult fiction featured in the library’s announcement includes Enter the Nightmare, You Are Fatally Invited, One of Us Is Next, Alchemised, A Thousand Boy Kisses, Unravel Me, Shatter Me, Heartbroken, Road Trip, Whisper Creek, Choke Point and Blaze of Glory.
Additional selections include It Could Have Been Her, Not What It Seems, Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith, Exhalation, Wait and See, Kill for a Million, No te creas todo lo que piensas, Weddings, The Summer Girlfriend, Daughters of the Sun and Moon, The Frenzy, Honeysuckle and Bone, If He Had Been with Me and ADHD for Smart Ass Women.
Superhero and graphic-novel selections include Spider-Man: Quantum Quest!, Iron Man: Something Strange!, Cat Ninja: Cat’s Claw, Cat Ninja: The Heart of a Hero, Captain America: The Ghost Army, Marvel Action: Heroes, I Survived the Bombing of Pearl Harbor, 1941: The Graphic Novel, Minecraft: Open World—Into the Nether and The Princess Diaries.
Manga readers can find additions from several popular series, including Chainsaw Man, Jujutsu Kaisen and Black Butler. The library’s new collection includes multiple volumes from some of those series, providing readers with opportunities to continue stories they may already be following.
Middle-grade and chapter-book selections include What Can I Say?, The Vanderbeekers to the Rescue, The House That You Built, The Spellbinding Episodes of Phoebe and Her Unicorn, The Magic Storm, Punk Rock Unicorn, The Alien Next Door, Phoebe and Her Unicorn: Unicorn on a Roll, Phoebe and Her Unicorn and Katie the Catsitter: Villain Con.

The variety allows families to select books for several age groups during one visit. Younger readers can explore humorous animal stories, early-reading books and colorful picture books, while middle-grade and teenage readers can choose superhero adventures, manga, graphic novels and popular young-adult series. Adult selections include mysteries, thrillers, romance, short stories, faith-centered nonfiction and books addressing personal development.
Residents can search the library’s online catalog, review their accounts, check due dates and reserve or renew eligible materials from home. Because newly added books may be checked out quickly, readers looking for a particular title may want to check the catalog or contact the library before visiting. The library also provides access to digital materials through OverDrive and the Libby app.
