Misty’s Sweet Treats is adding a little extra sweetness to a community effort supporting new teachers in Crandall Independent School District.
From July 17 through July 30, customers who purchase a $25 gift card for the Crandall ISD Education Foundation Gift Card Drive will receive a free six-pack of cakeballs from the local bakery. The offer is available at Misty’s Sweet Treats, located at 106 S. Main Street in Crandall.
The Education Foundation is collecting gift cards to welcome new CISD teachers and help them prepare for the upcoming school year. Donated cards can assist educators with classroom supplies, decorations, everyday essentials and student incentives.
The foundation is seeking gift cards valued between $25 and $50. It is also accepting door-prize donations such as restaurant gift cards, self-care products, local shopping certificates, experiences, wellness items and gift baskets.
Misty’s Sweet Treats’ promotion gives residents an opportunity to support local educators while enjoying one of the bakery’s signature treats. Each qualifying $25 gift card purchase earns the customer a complimentary package containing six cakeballs.
The partnership offers a simple way for community members to make a direct contribution to teachers beginning their careers or joining a new campus while also supporting a locally owned Crandall business.
