The Seagoville Library Advisory Board is scheduled to meet Tuesday, July 21, to organize its leadership and review the library’s latest activity report.
The regular meeting will begin at 5 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Seagoville City Hall, 702 North Highway 175.
Board leadership on the agenda
Board members are scheduled to introduce themselves before appointing a chair and vice chair. The agenda lists Pat Bearden as chair and Sandra Waggoner as vice chair, with Larry W. Brice Sr., Stephania Brown, Judy Whitehead and Reba Groblebe serving as board members.
The board will also consider approving the minutes from its June 16 meeting.
June library activity to be presented
Another item calls for the presentation of the Seagoville library’s activity report for June 2026.
The agenda references the library’s fiscal-year statistics and library policy materials, but it does not provide attendance figures, circulation totals or other details from the report. Those figures are expected to be presented during the meeting.
Public comments accepted
Residents who wish to address the board during the public-comment period must register with the board liaison before speaking.
Registered speakers will receive up to three minutes to address items listed on the agenda. The board may listen to comments but cannot discuss or take action on statements presented during that portion of the meeting.
The board may also discuss possible subjects for future meetings before adjourning.
