Have you ever wanted to share a concern, offer an idea, or recognize a City department for a job well done? One of the easiest ways to get involved is by participating in a Seagoville City Council meeting.
Every regular City Council meeting includes a Public Comments portion during the Regular Session. This is an opportunity for residents to speak directly to the Mayor and City Council about matters that are important to them.
If you would like to speak during Public Comments, simply complete a Public Speaker Form before the meeting. The form helps the City identify speakers and ensures everyone has an opportunity to be heard in an orderly manner.
Each speaker is allowed up to three (3) minutes to address the City Council.
While the Seagoville City Council will not discuss or take action on items raised during Public Comments at that meeting, your comments become part of the public record and help keep City leadership informed about community concerns, ideas, and accomplishments.
Regular City Council meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
Meeting agendas are posted in advance and are available under the Public Meetings Center at www.seagoville.us. Reviewing the agenda before the meeting is a great way to stay informed about upcoming City business and topics that will be discussed.
