Shop in Seagoville will launch the Shop in Seagoville Club on August 1, creating a new community shopping game designed to encourage residents to visit local businesses, submit receipts, earn recognition, and compete for prizes.
The program is built around a simple idea: residents support different local businesses each month, take a photo during their visit, upload a receipt, and work toward Club status based on the number of local stops they complete.
The goal is to make shopping local more active, visible, and rewarding while helping businesses in Seagoville, Crandall, Combine, and the surrounding area increase real customer traffic.
“This is not designed to be just another coupon program,” according to the Shop in Seagoville Club concept. “It is designed to feel like a community achievement club.”
Participants will be able to earn different Club Chapter levels by visiting multiple local establishments during the month. Planned levels include the 5 Club, 10 Club, 15 Club, 20 Club, and 25 Club. Each visit must be to a different local business, restaurant, service provider, vendor, salon, shop, church event, fundraiser, or local establishment.
Local businesses are being invited to take part by donating prizes, offering small perks, sponsoring special challenges, or becoming featured Club Stops. Prizes may include gift cards, free services, meal deals, local gift baskets, discounts, certificates, merchandise, or other donated items that reward residents for supporting local establishments.
Businesses may also sponsor featured opportunities such as Today’s Club Stop, weekly community challenges, monthly prize drawings, or special bonus-entry days. These sponsorships are intended to bring residents directly through the doors of participating businesses while giving sponsors additional visibility on Shop in Seagoville and related promotional platforms.
The Club will also help participating businesses receive measurable exposure through customer visits, receipt submissions, submitted photos, website mentions, social media promotion, and end-of-month recognition.
The monthly format is designed to create urgency and repeat participation. Each challenge will reset at the beginning of the month, giving residents a fresh opportunity to reach a new Club level and giving businesses an ongoing way to stay in front of local customers.
The Shop in Seagoville Club will emphasize all types of local spending, not just restaurants. Eligible stops may include food and drink businesses, salons, barbers, boutiques, auto shops, home service providers, retail stores, local vendors, side hustles, church events, school fundraisers, youth sports events, festivals, and community sales.
Businesses interested in supporting the launch may participate by donating a prize, sponsoring a Club Stop, sponsoring a weekly challenge, or becoming a monthly sponsor.
The first Shop in Seagoville Club challenge begins August 1.
