The City of Crandall has announced an upcoming change to trash collection service for residents living along FM 3039, the roadway formerly known as W. Lewis St. and E. Lewis St.
Beginning next week, Black Jack Disposal will no longer collect trash on both Mondays and Wednesdays for residents in this area. Instead, trash collection will move to a single weekly pickup on Wednesdays only.
The change applies specifically to regular household trash collection. Bulk Waste and Recycling collection will continue as normal on Fridays and will not be affected by the new schedule.
City officials are encouraging residents to stay informed about collection days by signing up for reminders and notifications through the city’s website. The City of Crandall advises FM 3039 residents to adjust their weekly routines accordingly and to place trash out for collection only on Wednesdays going forward to avoid missed pickups.
