New city park to host launch event Saturday, July 25th, with live music, food trucks, a kid zone, and a free outdoor movie
Crandall is about to break in its brand new city park in a big way. The first ever Crandall Farmers and Vendor Market, combined with a Movie Night under the stars, is set for Saturday, July 25th from 5PM to 9PM at 13125 Lewis Street, the site of the city’s new park.
Organizers are calling it the start of a new Crandall tradition, and the lineup backs that up. The evening will feature local vendors, makers, and boutiques, food trucks for dinner, a full kid zone, yard games, a live DJ, and a free outdoor screening of The Minecraft Movie starting at 6PM.
Movie Night Details
The big screen and sound system will be provided by J Crew Entertainment, with the movie sponsored by Evo Entertainment. Evo isn’t just covering the screen either. The company will be handing out free popcorn and snacks to the entire crowd throughout the night, so families can settle in for the movie without needing to bring their own concessions.

- A kid zone with inflatable basketball and soccer, provided by Encanto Bounce House and Party Rental LLC
- Giant Jenga, Connect 4, and cornhole
- A live DJ

Admission is completely free. Organizers say all attendees need to bring is a blanket or a chair to claim their spot on the lawn.
Calling All Vendors
Organizers are inviting local businesses to become founding vendors at Crandall’s new park. They are accepting applications from food trucks, handmade goods sellers, artisans, boutiques, direct sales representatives, and service providers. Vendor applications close July 10th.

Vendor Quick Hits
- Set up must be completed by 4:30PM sharp. Late set ups will not be permitted.
- There is no power or water on site. Vendors must bring their own quiet generator and water.
- Vendor fees are non refundable, rain or shine.
- Popcorn, snack, and candy vendors will not be accepted, since Evo Entertainment is providing those items free to the crowd.
Organizers are encouraging the community to spread the word and tag their favorite local shops as Crandall prepares to launch this new tradition at its newest public space.
