Seagoville residents now have a meaningful way to give back to their community through the Keep Seagoville Beautiful (KSB) Commission’s Adopt A Spot Program. The initiative invites local businesses, organizations, schools, churches, and community groups to take responsibility for keeping designated areas of the city clean and attractive.
What Is the Adopt A Spot Program?
The program allows groups to formally adopt a street or public location within Seagoville for a two year commitment. Participants take on regular litter cleanups and beautification efforts, helping reduce waste throughout the city while saving taxpayer dollars that would otherwise go toward municipal cleanup costs.
Why Participate?
According to the City of Seagoville, the program offers several benefits to the community, including:
- Helping keep Seagoville clean and attractive
- Building community and group pride
- Protecting the local environment
- Reducing litter cleanup costs and saving taxpayer dollars
How the Program Works
Groups that join the program agree to adopt a designated street or location within Seagoville for a two year period. Participants are expected to:
- Conduct litter cleanups at least four times per year
- Participate in the annual spring cleanup during the Don’t Mess With Texas Trash Off
- Follow safety guidelines provided by KSB
In return, Keep Seagoville Beautiful will:
- Coordinate with the City to install a sign recognizing the adopting group
- Provide safety vests and safety information
- Assist with program coordination
Groups are responsible for providing their own cleanup supplies, such as gloves and trash bags.

A variety of streets and public areas throughout Seagoville are currently available for adoption, including portions of:
- Seagoville Road
- Stark Road
- Environmental Way
- Farmers Road
- Hall Street
- Malloy Bridge Road
- Heard Park and surrounding areas
How to Apply
Residents and groups interested in joining the program can follow these steps:
- Complete an Adopt A Spot Application
- Select the location you would like to adopt
- Submit the application to Seagoville City Hall at 702 North Highway 175, Seagoville, Texas 75159
Applications will be reviewed by the Keep Seagoville Beautiful Commission, and groups will be contacted regarding their requested location or an alternate location if needed.
