The City of Seagoville is inviting local families to a free Kids Fishing Derby on Saturday, May 23, at Bruce Central Park, located at 1801 N. Hwy 175 in Seagoville.
The event is open to kids ages 4 to 16. Check in runs from 9 to 10 a.m., with the derby itself taking place from 10 a.m. to noon.
Young anglers will compete in three age based divisions:
1. Minnow Division for ages 4 to 7
2. Perch Division for ages 8 to 11
3. Bass Division for ages 12 to 16
