Cotton Harvest Festival Returns Nov. 7

Date:

Cotton, classic cars, runners, vendors, food, music, and plenty of hometown fun will take over Downtown Crandall when the Cotton Harvest Festival returns Saturday, Nov. 7.

The Crandall Chamber of Commerce festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Downtown Crandall, bringing together several community traditions for a full day built around families, local businesses, and fall in North Texas. The City of Crandall has also announced the Nov. 7 festival date during recent City Council meetings.

The festival’s 2026 promotional materials describe a day featuring the Cotton Dash Fun Run, Cotton Classic Car Show, live entertainment, food, vendors, crafts, and family activities.

A Full Day in Downtown Crandall

The Cotton Harvest Festival is designed as more than a stop-by event. Families can make a day of it, beginning with festival activities in the morning and continuing through the evening.

Visitors can expect a mix of shopping, food, entertainment, and activities spread throughout Downtown Crandall. The festival also gives local merchants, food vendors, organizations, and community groups an opportunity to participate in one of Crandall’s signature annual gatherings.

A detailed 2026 entertainment schedule is expected as the festival gets closer.

Cotton Dash Starts the Fun

The Cotton Dash Fun Run is again part of the festival, giving runners, walkers, families, and community groups another way to participate rather than simply watch from the sidelines.

The Chamber’s current 2026 registration form includes a specific option for Cotton Dash Fun Run participants, confirming the run as part of this year’s activities.

For longtime residents, the combination of a morning run followed by festival activities has become part of the Cotton Harvest tradition — get moving early, then spend the rest of the day enjoying Downtown Crandall.

Classic Cars Roll Into Downtown

Classic vehicles will also return for the Cotton Classic Car Show, including a special show honoring veterans.

According to the 2026 car show information, registration begins at noon, with awards scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Registration is listed at $20.

The show is scheduled to include Top 20 awards, Best of Show, a Club Award, and Veterans Pick, giving owners several opportunities to take home recognition.

For spectators, there is no judging sheet required. They can simply walk the show, admire restored cars and trucks, talk with owners, take photos, and pick their own favorites.

Vendors Can Still Get Involved

Businesses and individuals interested in becoming part of the festival have several participation options.

The Chamber’s current Cotton Harvest Festival form includes registration choices for festival sponsorships, mercantile vendors, food vendors, Cotton Dash participants, Cotton Classic Car Show entrants, and pancake tickets. There is even an option for people who want to participate in multiple parts of the celebration.

That variety should help create the kind of festival atmosphere where visitors can move from food to shopping, entertainment, cars, and activities without spending the entire day in one place.

Food, Shopping, and Fall Tradition

Part of the appeal of the Cotton Harvest Festival has always been its simple formula: bring people downtown and give them plenty to do.

Food vendors provide the festival-day treats. Mercantile vendors and crafters offer another reason to browse. Live entertainment keeps activity going throughout the day, while the run, car show, and family attractions give visitors several different ways to enjoy the event.

The cotton theme ties everything together, celebrating an agricultural tradition that remains closely connected with the identity and history of communities across this part of Texas.

Save the Date

The 2026 Cotton Harvest Festival is Saturday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Downtown Crandall.

With the Cotton Dash, Cotton Classic Car Show, vendors, food, entertainment, and family activities all sharing one downtown celebration, Nov. 7 is shaping up as one of Crandall’s biggest community days of the fall.

Residents interested in participating as a vendor, runner, car-show entrant, sponsor, or other festival participant can use the Crandall Chamber of Commerce Cotton Harvest Festival registration form.
