Four festival days give families more than one way to enjoy SeagoFest
The countdown has reached eight days. SeagoFest returns to C.O. Bruce Central Park from Thursday, Oct. 1, through Sunday, Oct. 4, bringing carnival rides, food vendors, arts and crafts, and live music to Seagoville.
The first decision for visitors is which day to go. Someone looking forward to the opening may choose Thursday.
Families who want a Friday visit can also make an evening of food, rides, and shopping once festival hours are announced. Saturday adds two scheduled events: the Some Run in the morning and the car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday offers one more chance to visit before the festival closes.
There is no need to fit everything into a single trip. A family might spend one visit around the carnival and return another day to browse vendor booths. Some Run participants can make Saturday morning their main event, while car enthusiasts can plan around the show.
A few details deserve another check before leaving home. The festival guide has not listed general daily hours or the names and performance times for live music. Visitors should check for updates, especially if they are planning a trip around a particular time of day.
For now, the essentials are clear: SeagoFest runs Oct. 1–4 at C.O. Bruce Central Park, 1801 N. Highway 175. Put the dates on the calendar, decide what your group most wants to see, and let the countdown begin.
