Crandall Police Seek Suspect Vehicle in Hit-and-Run

The Crandall Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run crash that occurred Sunday evening, Aug. 16.

According to police, the crash happened at approximately 7:26 p.m. in the 2000 block of Riverbrook. The suspect vehicle was traveling northbound when it struck another vehicle and left the scene.

Investigators said the vehicle continued from Riverbrook before turning westbound onto Autumnwood Lane. Police have released an image (see photo) of the vehicle believed to have been involved as they work to identify it and determine who was driving.

Anyone who recognizes the vehicle, witnessed the crash or has other information that could assist investigators is asked to contact the Crandall Police Department at 972-427-3767.

Residents in the Riverbrook and Autumnwood Lane area who may have home security, doorbell or vehicle camera footage from around the time of the crash could also have information useful to the investigation.

The investigation remains ongoing.
