Dallas County Health and Human Services to Hold Back-to-School Vaccination Clinic Aug. 15

Dallas County Health and Human Services will host a back-to-school vaccination clinic Saturday, Aug. 15, giving families another opportunity to update their children’s immunizations as the 2026-27 school year gets underway.

The clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Dallas County Health and Human Services facility at 2377 N. Stemmons Freeway in Dallas.

The event is intended for children who are uninsured or underinsured. CHIP and Medicaid will also be accepted.

What Families Need to Bring

Parents and guardians should bring a hard copy of the child’s most recent immunization record to the clinic.

Children 17 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

The cost is $10 for a first visit and $5 for subsequent visits.

Appointments are preferred, although walk-ins will also be accepted during the clinic hours.

Back-to-School Immunizations

The Saturday clinic provides families with a weekend option for addressing vaccination needs as students return to classrooms across Dallas County.

Families who still need to complete required or recommended vaccinations can use the event to have their child’s immunization history reviewed and receive eligible vaccines through Dallas County Health and Human Services.

Because families are required to provide a physical copy of the child’s latest vaccination record, parents should locate those documents before arriving.
