After weeks of counting down, SeagoFest 2026 opens Thursday at C.O. Bruce Central Park for four days of carnival rides, food, shopping, arts and crafts, live music, and community activities.
Saturday adds two major events to the festival weekend: the sixth annual Some Run and the SeagoFest Car Show.

Tomorrow Is Opening Day
The waiting is almost over.
SeagoFest 2026 begins Thursday, Oct. 1, bringing four days of carnival attractions, festival food, shopping, arts and crafts, live music, and community activities to C.O. Bruce Central Park.
The festival continues through Sunday, Oct. 4, giving residents several opportunities to visit instead of trying to fit everything into a single day.
Families may build their visit around the carnival rides. Others may come primarily for food, vendors, shopping, or music. Saturday offers the fullest collection of scheduled special events with the Some Run in the morning and the annual car show from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Festival Highlights
🎡 Carnival Rides
Carnival attractions are scheduled throughout SeagoFest.
The advertised $25 advance-sale armband provides unlimited carnival rides for one selected festival day. It is not a four-day ride pass.
Advance armbands have been available through the Seagoville Chamber of Commerce and Migalitos Supermercado. With opening day arriving tomorrow, buyers should confirm availability before traveling to either sales location.
🍔 Food
Food is part of the SeagoFest experience throughout the weekend. Visitors can make festival food part of a short evening visit or spend several hours at the park combining meals and snacks with rides, shopping, and entertainment.
🛍️ Shopping
Arts and crafts vendors, merchandise sellers, and community booths give visitors something to explore away from the carnival midway.
The shopping component also gives families who are not interested in spending their entire visit riding carnival attractions another way to enjoy SeagoFest.
🎵 Live Music
Live music is planned during all four days of SeagoFest.
Visitors should see the Mile Post 595 and other music with Classic Rock, Blues, and Country. Check in the Information Guide at its latest update.

The 6th Annual Some Run
Saturday morning begins with the sixth annual Some Run, a community event benefiting the A-T Children’s Project.
Participants can choose among a timed 5K, untimed Walk/Roll, Shuffle around the pond, or alternative participation options.

Beginning Thursday, Seagoville residents can finally move from planning their SeagoFest weekend to enjoying it. Some families will head directly for the carnival rides. Others will start with dinner and vendor shopping. Some will wait for Saturday morning’s Some Run and car show, while others may return several times during the four-day celebration.
