River Ridge in Crandall is preparing for a community wide National Night Out celebration on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, and organizers are inviting local businesses, makers, nonprofit groups and other vendors to participate.
The event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. in the River Ridge community in Crandall.
National Night Out is designed to bring residents together with neighbors, local organizations and first responders while strengthening community connections. The River Ridge event is expected to feature local vendors, food, activities, first responder displays, giveaways and other family friendly attractions.
Organizers are putting a major emphasis on local participation and are currently accepting vendor applications.
The vendor invitation is open to a broad range of participants, including bakers, crafters, handmade goods businesses, interactive vendors, food providers, retailers, service businesses, nonprofit organizations, educational groups and wellness related organizations.
The event flyer also promotes plans for police, fire and EMS displays, live music and entertainment, food trucks, children’s activities and games, community booths, local partners, door prizes and giveaways.
For small businesses and organizations in Crandall and surrounding communities, the event offers an opportunity to introduce their products or services directly to local residents while participating in one of the community’s larger neighborhood gatherings.
Space for vendors is limited, according to organizers.
