Cotton Gin Crandall Serves Up Breakfast, Sports, Live Music and Family Fun

From an early-morning breakfast to burgers, wings and pizza later in the day — followed by live music or karaoke at night — Cotton Gin Restaurant & Bar is positioning itself as much more than another place to grab a meal in Crandall.

Located at 1500 US 175 Frontage Road, Suite B, Cotton Gin combines a full-service restaurant and sports-bar atmosphere with a large outdoor area, family-friendly amenities and a growing schedule of entertainment.

The restaurant opens early enough for the breakfast crowd, stays open through dinner and extends its hours on Friday and Saturday nights.

Breakfast Starts the Day at Cotton Gin

Cotton Gin’s breakfast menu gives local residents an option well before lunch.

Current selections include biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, breakfast quesadillas, migas, omelets, pancake platters, breakfast tacos and avocado toast.

Diners looking for something different can try the Honey Fried Chicken Waffle or Honey Fried Chicken Pancake, while build-your-own breakfast combinations allow customers to put together their own plates.

The restaurant’s current published hours are 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Its burger menu is led by The Gin Burger, a double smash burger made with an Angus blend, lettuce, tomato, red onion, American cheese and Cotton Gin’s special sauce on a brioche bun.

For bigger appetites, the Triple Gin adds a third smash patty along with bacon and caramelized onions. Other choices include the Black and Blue, Like Texas in July, and Zack’s High Roller.

Hand-tossed pizza options range from the Classic and Chicken Pesto to the Pirate Meat Lovers, loaded with pepperoni, Italian sausage, beef and bacon.

Cotton Gin also keeps traditional comfort food on the menu with chicken-fried steak, chicken-fried chicken and meatloaf, each served with homestyle sides.

Wings are available bone-in or boneless with sauces and seasonings that include Classic Buffalo, Garlic Parmesan, Nashville Hot, Smoky Barbecue, Hot Honey, Lemon Pepper and Teriyaki.

New Weekly Specials Add More Reasons to Stop In

Cotton Gin has also been expanding its weekday specials.

The restaurant announced new weekly offerings beginning in August, including loaded baked potato and fajita specials on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Wednesday and Thursday bring pork chop specials, with fried and grilled options promoted by the restaurant.

The rotating approach gives regular customers something different to look for beyond the permanent menu.
