Local gardeners, bakers, crafters and small-scale producers will have an opportunity to turn their homegrown and homemade goods into a one-day storefront when Tractor Supply brings its annual Farmers Market back to Seagoville on Saturday, Sept. 12.
The event, now promoted nationally as Tractor Supply’s Harvest Fest Farmers Market, invites local residents to set up outside participating stores and sell directly to shoppers. There is no vendor or booth fee to participate.
The Seagoville Tractor Supply is located at 190 S. Crestview Drive.
Prospective vendors can offer a variety of locally produced goods, including fresh vegetables and fruit, baked goods, jams and jellies, honey, plants, handmade crafts, soaps, candles, jewelry and other homemade or homegrown products.
Registration is required, and Tractor Supply is encouraging interested sellers to sign up as soon as possible because the number of available spaces can vary by location and booths may fill before the event.
Local organizers are also directing anyone who needs help registering to contact the Seagoville store and ask for the assistant store manager. The store can be reached at 972-287-4949.
A Growing Annual Tradition
The Farmers Market is not a new promotion for Tractor Supply. The company has been holding nationwide versions of the event for several years, providing space for local farmers, makers and other small sellers at stores across the country.
In 2023, Tractor Supply held its nationwide Farmers Market on Aug. 19. The event moved to Sept. 28 in 2024 and Sept. 13 in 2025.
Participation grew considerably last year. Tractor Supply reported that more than 23,000 farmers, bakers and makers registered for the 2025 event, with vendors selling produce, baked goods, crafts, plants and other locally produced merchandise outside stores nationwide.
The program is designed for more than established businesses. Tractor Supply has historically welcomed experienced vendors alongside hobby farmers, backyard gardeners and first-time sellers who want to test their products in front of local customers.
That makes the Seagoville event a potentially useful opportunity for someone who grows more vegetables than the family can use, makes specialty baked goods, produces honey, creates handmade crafts or has considered turning a hobby into a small business.
Vendors remain responsible for following applicable state and local requirements for the products they sell, including any rules that apply to food or other regulated goods.
Shoppers Can Support Local Sellers
Residents do not have to be vendors to participate. The Farmers Market will also give shoppers an opportunity to browse products made or grown by people from the surrounding area while visiting Tractor Supply.
