Central Elementary opens our new weekly series after earning an A rating from the Texas Education Agency for the 2025/2026 school year.

We are kicking off a brand new weekly feature at Shop in Seagoville: School of the Week, a running spotlight on all 16 schools serving our area. Each edition will introduce readers to a local campus, its programs, its people, and what is coming up on its calendar. We are proud to open the series with Central Elementary, part of the Seagoville feeder pattern in Dallas ISD.

A Rating, Six Distinction Designations
We are incredibly proud to announce that Central Elementary received an A rating for the 2025/2026 school year. This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the school’s students, staff, families, and entire community. Central Elementary was also recognized for excellence with six distinction designations from the state.

- 7:30 a.m.: Doors open
- 7:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.: Arrival
- 7:45 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.: Breakfast in the classroom
- 8:00 a.m.: Instruction begins
- 8:10 a.m.: Tardy bell
- 3:20 p.m.: Dismissal
Uniform and Dress Code
- Shirts: Royal Blue, Navy Blue, Light Blue, Black, or White polo style collared shirts
- Bottoms: Pants, shorts, dresses, or skirts in Navy Blue, Black, or Khaki
- Every Friday is Central/College Spirit Shirt Day, worn with uniform bottoms. Select Fridays are $1 jean days; families should follow the behavior calendar for specific dates.
