KFC: 24 Nuggets for $10

KFC has one of Friday’s best deals for anyone feeding more than one person — or anyone simply looking for a lot of chicken for $10.

The chain’s weekday “Bucket of the Day” promotion features a 24-piece order of chicken nuggets with four dipping sauces for $10 every Friday at participating restaurants.

KFC expanded its popular $10 Tuesday promotion earlier this year by assigning a different $10 chicken deal to each weekday. Monday and Friday share the 24-piece nugget offer.

Participation can vary, so customers should check the KFC app or their nearest restaurant before ordering.

Wendy’s: 10-Piece Nuggets for $1.99

Wendy’s has rolled out a new deal that is available seven days a week, making it one of the better Friday app offers.

Wendy’s Rewards members can get a 10-piece order of classic or spicy chicken nuggets for $1.99 with an additional purchase.

The deal must be claimed through Wendy’s digital offer system and is available at participating U.S. restaurants for a limited time.

For comparison, a regular 10-piece nugget order can cost considerably more, making the $1.99 offer one worth checking before placing an order.

Subway: $4.99 Black Forest Ham Sub

Subway’s new Fresh Value Menu includes a different $4.99 six-inch sandwich each day of the week.

Friday is Forest Ham Friday, featuring a six-inch Black Forest Ham sandwich for $4.99 at participating restaurants.

Customers can also turn the Sub of the Day into a meal by adding chips and a drink for $2 more.

Subway also has several other items under $5 on its Fresh Value Menu, including $3.99 Deli Faves and Protein Pockets.

McDonald’s: Free Medium Fries With $1 Purchase

McDonald’s Rewards members can still get free medium fries with a minimum $1 purchase through the McDonald’s app.

The offer can be used once per week through Oct. 4 at participating locations. McDelivery orders are excluded.

Breakfast customers can also find a $2 breakfast sandwich offer once per week in the app. Eligible choices include select favorites such as the Egg McMuffin, Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit and Sausage, Egg & Cheese McGriddles.

If you have not used either weekly deal yet, Friday is a good opportunity to claim one.

Potbelly: Half-Price Shakes After 2 P.M.

Friday afternoon also marks the beginning of Potbelly’s weekend shake promotion.

Potbelly Perks members can get a hand-dipped shake for half price with a purchase of at least $5 beginning at 2 p.m. Friday.

The promotion continues throughout Saturday and Sunday and can be redeemed through Potbelly’s digital ordering system or at participating shops when customers use their Perks account.

Sonic: $1.99 Menu and $7 Big Deal Meal

Sonic continues to offer several everyday value options that are also available Friday.

Its $1.99 Menu currently includes selections such as the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, Garlic Parmesan Ranch Crispy Tender Wrap, Vanilla Soft Serve Cup and small Barq’s Root Beer Float.

For customers wanting a full meal, Sonic’s $7 Big Deal Meal includes a Sonic Cheeseburger, small Premium Chicken Bites, a medium drink and medium fries or tots.

Restaurant apps have increasingly become the first place to look for the best fast-food discounts.
