The Keep Seagoville Beautiful Fall Yard Contest is now accepting nominations through Oct. 16, giving residents a chance to recognize neighbors who have transformed their yards for the season.

KSB is looking for homes that capture the look and spirit of fall. Residents can nominate a favorite property by providing the address of the home or by posting a photograph in the comments on KSB’s contest announcement.

Fall Decorations Take Center Stage

Unlike the traditional Yard of the Month program, which commonly recognizes landscaping and overall property appearance, the fall contest puts seasonal decorating in the spotlight.

That leaves plenty of room for creativity. Pumpkins, hay bales, autumn wreaths, scarecrows, seasonal plants, porch displays, and other fall-themed decorations can all help turn an ordinary front yard into a neighborhood attraction.

The contest also gives residents another reason to explore their own neighborhoods and recognize the work being done by people who invest time and creativity into making their homes festive.

Anyone who spots a decorated home worthy of consideration can submit a nomination. Residents do not have to nominate their own property.

How to Nominate a Home

Keep Seagoville Beautiful has made the nomination process simple.

Residents can visit the organization’s Facebook page and find the Fall Yard Contest announcement. A nomination can be made by sharing the property’s address or posting a photograph of the decorated home in the comments.

Nominations will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 16.

Residents submitting another person’s home may want to make sure any photograph is taken from a public location and focuses on the home’s outdoor decorations.

Part of a Larger Beautification Effort

The fall contest continues Keep Seagoville Beautiful’s broader work encouraging residents to take pride in the appearance of the community.

KSB was established by city ordinance in 2006 and is an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful. According to the City of Seagoville, the organization sponsors beautification, litter-control, and community improvement programs designed to improve the appearance of Seagoville and encourage community pride.

Residential recognition has been an ongoing part of that work. The Keep Seagoville Beautiful Commission selected 814 Allie Renea as its September 2026 Yard of the Month during its Sept. 16 meeting.

Now, with October approaching, landscaping is giving way to pumpkins, leaves, and fall displays.

Deadline Is Oct. 16

Residents have a little more than two weeks to find their favorite decorated yards and submit nominations.

That means homeowners who are still putting together their fall displays have time to finish decorating before the nomination period closes.

For neighbors, the assignment is even easier: if you drive past a Seagoville home this fall that makes you slow down for another look, remember the address.

It might be Seagoville’s next recognized fall yard.

Nominations close Oct. 16.
