CRANDALL — Lace up your running shoes, bring an appetite and make room for a little hometown fun.
Crandall’s Cotton Harvest Festival is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026, in downtown Crandall, bringing a fall celebration with activities for families, shoppers, runners and car enthusiasts.
The date and downtown location were also announced during Crandall City Council meetings.
Organizers are recruiting vendors, sponsors, 5K and one-mile participants, car-show entries and entertainers.
For residents and businesses interested in helping shape the celebration, the invitation is simple: sign up and become part of the day.
The festival’s announced plans offer plenty of reasons to mark the calendar, from pancakes and a community run to shopping, live entertainment and activities for children.
Start With a Run—and Pancakes
The Cotton Dash Fun Run & Pancake Breakfast is planned as a morning kickoff, giving participants a chance to get moving before enjoying breakfast.
With both a 5K and a one-mile option advertised, residents can choose the distance that suits them.
Friends, families and neighbors looking for an active start to festival day can find participation information through the event’s registration link.
Cars, Music and Community Talent
The Cotton Classic Car Show is another planned attraction, with organizers announcing that the exhibition will also honor local veterans.
Meanwhile, the Trunk Railway Stage is expected to feature live music, martial arts demonstrations and dancers.
Organizers are seeking entertainment participants, offering local performers an opportunity to take part in the celebration.
Specific performers and appearance times should be checked with organizers as the festival approaches.
Shop, Eat and Let the Kids Play
The planned Cotton Mercantile & Vendors area will bring together shopping, crafts and food trucks. For visitors, it offers a chance to browse, find something unexpected and support participating merchants.
For businesses and makers, the festival provides an opportunity to introduce their work to neighbors. Organizers are inviting vendors to apply through the festival registration form.
Families can also look forward to the Cotton Patch for Kids, an area planned for games, rides and activities geared toward younger children.
An adult gathering area, the Cotton Gin Beer & Wine Garden, is included in the announced festival plans.
There’s Still a Way to Get Involved
The call for participants extends beyond vendors. Businesses interested in sponsorship, vehicle owners considering the car show, runners and entertainers are all encouraged to review the available participation options.
Residents can help build excitement by inviting friends, sharing the festival information and making plans to spend part of Nov. 7 downtown.
