The Crandall Economic Development Corporation is accepting applications from community members interested in filling an open seat on its seven-member Board of Directors.
The EDC announced the vacancy as it looks for a qualified resident or local business representative willing to take an active role in Crandall’s economic development efforts.
Who Is Eligible?
Board members must meet at least one of the eligibility requirements established by the EDC.
Applicants may reside within the Crandall city limits or the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction, commonly known as the ETJ. Individuals who own or operate a business within the City of Crandall may also qualify.
Members of the EDC board serve staggered two-year terms.
Monthly Meeting Commitment
Regular Crandall EDC board meetings are normally held on the second Tuesday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
Meetings take place in the Crandall EDC Conference Room at 116 S. Main Street in Crandall.
The board works with EDC staff on matters involving economic development, business growth, development opportunities and other initiatives affecting the local economy.
Applications Due Sept. 4
Applications must be submitted no later than noon Friday, Sept. 4.

Paper applications are also available at the Crandall EDC Office, 116 S. Main Street.
