RPM Speedway will host the Ronny Sigman Memorial Race on Saturday, Aug. 22, bringing a special night of dirt-track racing to Crandall with three racing divisions and the return of the popular Toddler Mods.
The racing program will feature Factory Stocks, Limited Modifieds and the Touring Outlaw Modified Series, better known as TOMS Modifieds. The Toddler Mods will also return as part of Saturday night’s activities.
RPM Speedway is located at 1267 CR 4104 in Crandall. Officials noted that several people have contributed additional money to the race purse in an effort to make this year’s memorial event especially meaningful.
Saturday’s Schedule
The pit gates are scheduled to open at 4 p.m., followed by the grandstands at 5 p.m.
The drivers meeting is set for 6:30 p.m., with hot laps beginning at 7 p.m. Racing is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive hungry, with concessions available at the speedway throughout the evening.
Admission and Pit Passes
General admission is $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, military members and children ages 6-12. Children under 6 are admitted free.
Adult pit passes are $40. Pit admission for children ages 2-10 is $20, while children under 2 receive free pit admission.
Personal-size coolers measuring up to 10-by-10-by-13 inches are allowed for a $10 fee. Beer brought into the speedway is limited to cans.
